"Call quality has honestly been solid"
I’ve been happy with the call quality so far. The calls come through clear, and I haven’t had to deal with much cutting in and out or those random dropped calls that can get really annoying, especially when you’re in the middle of explaining something. It’s not something I think about a lot when it’s working well, which is kind of the point, but overall it’s been reliable and easy to use.

"Felt a little embarrassed when my phone didn’t work"
I was told my phone would be compatible, so I went ahead thinking everything would be fine. Turns out it wasn’t compatible at all, which was frustrating and a little embarrassing after I’d already tried to get it set up.

"Activation was easy"
Got everything activated quickly and my number transferred over without any issues. I was kind of expecting it to be a hassle, but... yeah, it just worked.

"Prices went up, value didn’t"
The plans just feel way too expensive now. The company keeps using all this polished language about “improved value” and “better options,” but it doesn’t really match what I’m seeing. For what you get, it’s not worth the price anymore.
"Decent until you get throttled"
I had straight talk for 3 years while living in small towns. Zero complaints, as good as you could expect any cell service to be. Then I moved to a big city. Cell towers on an adjacent mountain visible from anywhere in town. It's awful. Worse than dial-up. I can't even receive phone calls in my apartment, and data connection is literally dial-up speeds. Absolutely unusable. Hate having to go to the library for free Wi-Fi just to be able to use my phone.

"Wasn’t expecting much, but wow"
I switched to Straight Talk thinking the data speeds would be just okay, maybe even a little frustrating. But honestly? Total opposite. Videos load fast, maps don’t freeze up on me anymore, and I haven’t been sitting there waiting on stuff to buffer. I was ready to complain, but nope, I’m actually happy with it so far...

"Support came through eventually"
From what I remember, my Straight Talk service didn’t kick back on after I refilled, so I had to reach out to support. The first chat rep seemed like they weren’t really following what I was saying, and I’m sure I had to explain the same issue twice before we got anywhere.
The second person I talked to was a lot better and finally got it fixed. Still, the whole thing took close to an hour, so looking back, I’d say it wasn’t a terrible experience, just more annoying than it needed to be

"Pretty solid coverage so far"
i mean, the coverage has been better than I expected. I get a signal almost everywhere I go, even when I’m driving out near my parents’ place. For the price, I’m happy with it.

"Service is fine, but the app and site drive me nuts"
Straight Talk service itself has been okay for me, no real complaints there. But the website and app are just frustrating. Pages take forever to load, and sometimes I’ll finally get logged in and then it randomly kicks me out, which is especially annoying when I’m just trying to pay my bill or check my plan. You’d think that stuff would be easy to find, but somehow it takes too many clicks, and then I’m sitting there wondering why I didn’t just do this earlier before I needed it. The app also feels outdated and tends to glitch at the worst times. It really just needs to be simpler and more reliable.
